F-Gas Category I: 3 Day Course

To meet legal requirements, anyone working with equipment containing refrigerant must hold a current F-Gas Certificate for the relevant category.

This training course meets the present legal requirement of EC Regulation 517/2014 (commonly known as the F-Gas Regulation). The scheme is designed for operatives who install, service, maintain and repair refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems, and require the following skills:

▪ Safe handling of refrigerant techniques

▪ Pipework and jointing skills

▪ Recovery of refrigerants

▪ Intrusive and Non-Intrusive Leak and performance checking of systems.

This course aims to improve, enhance, and update the skills of less experienced engineering personnel looking to get their Category I certification. Each candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience within industry before attempting this course.

A comprehensive F-Gas course book will be provided prior to commencement of the course.
