Meridian RACHP Training is offering a Bespoke Domestic Small Split Air Conditioning Installation course.

This course has been tailored to meet the needs of multi skilled trades people wishing to upskill to be able to install and maintain small domestic air conditioning systems to the industry standard and correctly following legal requirements.

For those coming with some limited experience having already worked within the RAC industry over a period of time working on small split air conditioning systems in a junior role. The course is also potentially suitable for those with knowledge of an associated trade within the building engineering services.

You will be training on industry-standard equipment in a controlled learning environment. This approach will build the confidence for the candidate to be able to Install and maintain small domestic air conditioning systems. It will ensure that the candidates will be able to effectively apply their new skills in real-world scenarios.

During the course the candidate will learn how to strength, pressure and leak test systems, Evacuate, Charge with refrigerant and commission them. Also, learning how to carryout maintenance that is required to maintain manufacturers’ warranty’s before being able to recover refrigerant safely from the system with all the relevant paperwork.

As part of the course, you will also go through the City and Guilds Category 1 F-Gas qualification during your time with us. This is our industry’s licence to practice and must be passed prior to any certificate being issued.
